so marlena is a little weasel (but not the good kind) and she didn't give me my prom pictures before school got out so i probably won't get it for a while since i'll be gone so this is the *Random Photo Update!*

i'm very excited for prom tomorrow. i know to some it's overrated (and most of it is, i do agree), but i feel like it's a landmark of my highschool career, as cliche as that is.

i have a huge photo update to do soon, with pictures from ITS induction and the play and other occasions. after prom i'll post them.

i can't keep appearances up right now. i've been doing it all year and i'm over it. whatever i say, i say. no apologies, no regrets. i'm tired of lying to myself. i know who i can trust and who i can't.

i've been manipulative and manipulated. both with myself and others. i was starting to feel annihilated beyond my control.

i started writing again today, and every confession spilled out of me like tears. i crawled back into the pages in my head and finally, finally am i beginning to feel safe. patience is the key, but confessionals are the active force.

and i realized secrets aren't as enthralling as i've always dreamed them to be.

this is my first entry in...quite a while.

things have been so hectic/confusing/terrible/wonderful/stressful/exhausting/exciting lately. this week has been the most physically, mentally and emotionally draining i believe i've ever had. i don't like how i become when i am so horribly horribly tired. i tell people things that i otherwise don't say when i am more conscience of myself. and when i'm tired i forget about trying not to be so obvious when something is on my mind, but my face gives it all away. i feel like macbeth, with my face like an open book. at least i'm not planning to kill anyone...(heh, heh).

hmm so to recap, in the last few weeks i:

got a story on the front page of the paper again (it was a good story, too)
got my first hate mail letter - some lady bitching about my battle of the bands article, her letter was bloody ridiclous she twisted ALL of my words
went to the perishers/sarah mclaughlan concert with kung-fu casey -- it was amazing, the perishers signed my arm for lack of other things to sign (it was either that or my cleavage). i fucking love them, the lead singer looked exactly like miles which made me both love and hate him
hung out with mark and kyrie and had sushi
organized the entire ITS induction (i'm not officially a thespian...no laughing), which turned out awesome
actually had time last week to watch 'steven's untitled rock show', and finally saw the video for 'i woke up in a car' which i love love love loooove
saw the best episode ever of 'drake and josh' -- and for the record, i love josh just as much as i love drake
umm got a B on two chemistry tests

the play opened last night. this sounds dramatic (no pun intended), but i live for theatre. i can't explain how excited i am to be back on stage again. its so exhilerating. opening night went so fantastic; cept for the random dimming of the lights (damn you scoggins haha), my fuck-up on the same line i always fuck up on, and when my sword wouldn't come out of its sheath.

but besides that, i had a very very fun time and i can't wait to do it again four more times. i wish we would have more weekends but our audience would run out.
